More about me
|
I am currently a crime analyst in California, United States of America, specializing in so-called "major crimes:" homicide, rape, large-scale property crime such as embezzlement, and arson. I also deal with narcotics traffickers.
Before that, I worked in the information technology industry for more years than I care to admit. My experiences were rather varied:
- software development in a variety of languages (see the userboxes to the right under "computer languages")
- user support
- server administration
- network administration and monitoring
- data storage capacity planning
- life-critical and mission critical system support for law enforcement
- BlackBerry support
- database administration
- technology policy development
My interests include weight training (three times each week), securities investing, learning languages, cooking, martial arts (looking for a dojo) and sword collecting (especially katanas).
