AV Festival. UK's largest electronic arts festival, featuring exhibitions, film, music and newly commissioned works. It is bi-annual and based in the three main urban centres of the North East of England, NewcastleGateshead, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
onedotzero. World's largest digital film festival that encompasses many new media projects, international events, commissioned and produced works. Based in London, with venue home at the [ICA].
Lovebytes. Sheffield-based experimental digital arts and media festival.
Optronica. International VJ festival and screenings at London's NFT.
Ocean Pixel. Digital Art Festival based in Southampton, featuring international digital artists.
Futuresonic. Futuresonic is an annual festival of art, music and ideas. It involves a freeform mix of live events, exhibitions, workshops and talks in up to 30 different venues and spaces across Manchester UK. Futuresonic was established in 1995, with the first major festival was in September 1996, and has since presented projects in Asia, Africa, N America, S America and Europe.
SightSonic. York international festival of digital arts.
Radiator Festival. East Midlands' international festival for art and digital culture. Run by Trampoline, the Radiator Festival and Symposium look at how artists are responding to the ways that new technologies are changing society.

Iceland

The SEQUENCES real-time art festival is held in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik. Its emphasis is time-based work, performance, sound art, video and music. The aim of the annual independent art festival is to celebrate and exhibit cutting-edge visual art with a special emphasis on art in public/urban spaces.

Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid (International Meetings) takes place in Paris, Berlin and Madrid. The festival presents every year in the three cities a program with 250 films, videos and multimedia works from 75 countries. 2007's festival in Paris took place at the Centre Pompidou, the Jeu de Paume National Museum, and the Palais de Tokyo. 2008's festival in Madrid took place at the Reina Sofia National Museum and the Filmoteca Espagnola. 2008's festival in Berlin took place at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
Make Art takes place in Poitiers, this one week event is dedicated to free software and art.
VisionSonic Festival is dedicated to A/V performances since 2008. It is organised by Les PIXELS TRANSVERSAUX, V-ATAK and Centre Madeleine Rebérioux. Artistic direction by Yroyto & Rko.
