Mme. Tatiana Stepanova completed her training at the word-renowned [[Bolshoi Ballet Academy]] in [[Moscow]].
It began its formation in the [[Special School of Ballet of Odessa]] (Ukraine) student of [[Klaudia Vasina]], that was a disciple of the Great Dancer and Russian teacher [[Agrippina Vaganova]], complete its formation as the dancer in the State School of Ballet and Choreography of [[Minsk]]² ([[Belarus]]) where was pupil of [[Vera Shvetsova]] (distinguished disciple of Agrippina Vaganova), that danced in the [[Maly Theatre]] of [[Saint Petersburg]] ([[Russia]]) and in the [[Great Theater of it Opera and Ballet of Riga]] ([[Latvia]]).
Graduated in Choreographic Art in the [[Saint Petersburg Conservatory]]³, Russia (The N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory), where was a student of [[Gabriela Komleva]], [[Nikita Dolgushin]] and [[Nicolai Boyarchikov]], Big Dancers of the [[Mariinsky Theatre]] (before [[Kirov Ballet]]) and of the [[Mikhaylovsky Theatre]] (before [[Maly Theatre]]) both in Saint Petersburg.


Upon completion of her training, she returned to her native home in Odessa, Ukraine, where she was invited to perform as Principal Dancer for the [[Odessa State Ballet Company]]. It was there that Mme. Stepanova was given the opportunity to dance the principal roles in an extensive classical, contemporary, and modern repertoire. It was her amazing artistry and talent that then gave her the status of Prima Ballerina for [[Odessa State Ballet Company]]. Mme. Stepanova was also awarded the status of [[People's Artist of Ukrainian SSR]].
It danced as the soloist in the [[Great Theater of Ballet of Minsk]]² (Belarus).


Her combination of unique style, technique, and dramatic excellence, ultimately led to an invitation to perform (and work) with the legendary [[Ballet Russes]]. There, she was given the opportunity to work with some of the best artists the world over: [[Natalia Krassovska]], [[George Zoritch]], and [[Irina Baronova]]. Mme. Stepanova's international travels took her across the globe, from Japan, Italy, Malta, Finland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Taiwan, Romania, to a number of cities across North America.
Since 1985, is a Teacher of Ballet, giving classes in Odessa (Ukraine), [[Saratov]] and Saint Petersburg (Russia), [[Madrid]], [[Valencia, Spain|Valencia]], [[Puertollano]] and [[Lugo]] ([[Spain]]) and [[Ashiya]] and [[Nishinomiya]] ([[Japan]])


Master Teacher, and Choreographer, Mme. Stepanova was inspired by such great artists as, Galina Ulanova, Marina Semyonova, and Maya Plitsetsaya, all of which shaped and enriched her knowledge and skill of traditional Russian Ballet.
Founder and Artistic Director of the Institute of Investigation and Studies of Dance (Instituto de Investigación y Estudios de Danza) in Madrid (Spain).


At present Mme. Stepanova is the Artistic Director at Stepanova Ballet Academy and Toronto International Ballet Theatre.
It has published numerous articles of criticism in newspapers and weeklies of Ukraine ([[Vecherniaya Odessal]]), Russia ([[Glásnost]], [[Perestroika]] and [[Dance]]), Spain ([[El Cultural]] of [[La Razón]]) and [[United States]].



Teacher of the purity and of the maintenance of the original versions of the choreographic inheritance of the classical ballet, its short version of [[The Sleeping Beauty]] (1h 20'), is the current work that better maintains the bequest of [[Marius Petipa]], so much in the steps conserved, as in them added that he would have done its. This version premiered itself December seven, 2008, in the Performing Arts Center<sup>4</sup> ([[Nishinomiya]], [[Japan]]), under the title of ''Sleeping Beauty Suite''.

Tatiana Victorivna Stepanova, (Russian: Татьяна Викторовна Степанова; Ukrainian: Тeтяна Степанова Вікторівна, Tatiana Victorovna Stepanova) (born 1959, Odessa, Ukraine then Soviet Union) is a Prima Ballerina,Choreographer, and a Master Teacher of Ballet.

Biography

Mme. Tatiana Stepanova completed her training at the word-renowned Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow.

Upon completion of her training, she returned to her native home in Odessa, Ukraine, where she was invited to perform as Principal Dancer for the Odessa State Ballet Company. It was there that Mme. Stepanova was given the opportunity to dance the principal roles in an extensive classical, contemporary, and modern repertoire. It was her amazing artistry and talent that then gave her the status of Prima Ballerina for Odessa State Ballet Company. Mme.
