Adani is now in power sector too coming up with a 4620MW thermal Power project in Mundra, Kutch district, the first unit of 330MW will be completed by 31st december2008.

-Adani Power Limited (Adani Power), an ancillary of the Adani Group, has commenced power production at the initial unit of its Mundra 4,620 megawatts (MW) thermal coal-based power station. By generating 50 MW of power, Adani Power commissioned and synchronized its 330 MW unit. Mundra power project includes 5 super critical units of 660 MW each and 4 units of 330 MW each. It involves an INR200 billion investment.
