Journal Deutsche Welle or Journal is the daily news programme on DW-TV. It broadcast every day and every hour billingual in English and German mainly for DW-TV International viewers in half hour slot. Journal also available in Spanish for viewers in Latin America broadcast twice daily at 02.00 and 22.00 UTC and in Arabic for viewers in Middle East broadcast 6 times daily at 01.00, 03.00, 17.00, 19.00, 21.00 and 23.00 UTC. For Asia, in 11.00-15.00 UTC, Journal shifted in half hour and showed in 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00 UTC on DW-TV Asia. DW-TV Asia+ shifted Journal and showed in 12.00, 14.00, 16.00, 18.00, 20.00, 22.00 and 00.00 UTC. On DW-TV Asia or DW-TV Asien in German, Journal casts only in German language at 01.00, 03.00, 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00 UTC. And in DW-TV Asia+, English Journal broadcast at 12.00, 14.00, 16.00, 18.00, 20.00, 22.00, 00.00, 02.00, 04.00 and 06.00 UTC.

2006 Revamp

Journal Deutsche Welle was revamped in June 2006 along with DW-TV revamp. The Journal broadcast moved to the new studio. New music title composed and new lower third launched.

2009 new look

Journal Deutsche Welle again revamp in 2009. New edition of Journal launched. On weekdays, Journal With Business or Journal mit Wirschaft in German, was aired beside Journal with In Depth or in German means Journal mit Tagesthema. In weekends, a new edition, Journal with Business Review or in German, Journal mit Wirschaftsbilanz broadcasted beside 3 editions such as Journal with Interview or Journal mit Interview in German. Journal with The Week or in German means Journal mit Die Woche and Journal with Reporters or Journal mit Reporter in German.
