John Ross Sanchez Gamboa, also known as Joross (born November 28, 1984), is a Filipino actor. Joross is now part of GMA contract actor.[1]
Early life
Joross Gamboa was born in Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines. He has two siblings and the eldest of Renato Gamboa and Monette Sanchez. While studying high school at St. James Academy, he was a member of the basketball varsity team. He pursued a computer science degree in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde but later transferred to Global City Innovative School of Nursing. He temporarily stopped studying after entering Philippines show-business.
New career
After four years of being with ABS-CBN Star Magic, Joross Gamboa asked to be released and signed a two-year contract under the management of Becky Aguila. He was seen in the comedy segment Kaya Mo Ba To? in 2005 followed by Maynila in 2007 of the GMA Network, which became the reason for rumors of Joross moving to the said Network. After signing a contract with Becky Aguila, he will stay with ABS-CBN as his new talent manager still has issues with GMA Network. Joross will now join Angel Locsin, Jennylyn Mercado, and Valerie Concepcion under the stable of Ms. Aguila.
After the transfers of fellow former Kapamilya Stars Claudine Barreto & Bayani Agbayani are both moved to GMA Channel 7, Joross Gamboa is now a Kapuso Star for a contract signing last December 21. He is the fourth Star Circle Questor move on GMA-7 such us Hero Angeles, Michelle Madrigal andd Joseph Bitangcol.[2]
