EverQuest II: Kingdom of Sky is the second expansion for Sony Online Entertainment's EverQuest II. It is due to go live February 21, 2006. It will feature a new region to explore, located high above the skies of Norrath, known as the Overrealm. It will include new City Versus City PvP, a new level cap of 70 for adventurers and artisans, new items and quests, new monsters to fight, alternate ways of advancing your character and the ability to increase a guild to level 50.

Critisism

The Kingdom of Sky expansion has attracted some critisism after it was first announced. Some feel that it is being released too soon after the first expansion and that it doesn't allow players who have reached the level cap of 60 and put time into earning the expansion quest rewards to enjoy their new status for long before having it made obselete. Others feel that the Kingdom of Sky has little to do with already existing game lore.

Some, however, praise the new features for allowing players to make their characters more unique in their appearence and their skills, whilst others who have exhausted the game material in the game thus far are pleased that they will soon have new content.
