Die Antwoord (Afrikaans: "The Answer") is a Zef-Rap band from Cape Town, South Africa consisting of Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and DJ Hi-Tek.

Die Antwoord made their debut in 2009 at Ramfest, a yearly music festival outside Worcester, Western Cape, where they performed their song “Doosdronk” with Fokofpolisiekar and rapper Jack Parow.^[1]

The band labels themselves as a mixture of many diverse cultures all mixed into one. The band has signed with Netherlands music company Magnetron Music and is planning to tour Europe in April 2010. They announced via their website that they will be visiting France, Belgium, Amsterdam and London; however, the tour was put on hold after one of their members went missing in January 2010.^[2] Tracks from their upcoming album $o$ are streamed on their official website.

Tracks from their upcoming debut album '$O$' are hosted and streamed via the bands official website for free - Ninja also handed out free albums with hand-drawn artwork at live shows called $O$: Burnt By the Master.
