Sura (English: Shark) is a forthcoming Tamil film to be written and directed by S. P. Rajakumar and produced by Sangili Murugan. Confirmed stars of the film include Vijay and Tamanna Bhatia. The film was previously titled as Urimai Kural. The film, upon release, shall be Vijay's 50th film.[1] The film was recently purchased by Sun Pictures for distribution rights.[2].Vijay plays the role of a fishermen .The villain in the movie is Dev Gill .

Development
The shooting of the movie started in Kerala in November 2009. The shooting then continued in different places in Tamilnadu like Marakkanam in Villupuram,Pondicherry,mahabalipuram,thoothukudi and as well in Chennai. Vijay hosts lunch for Fishermen in the coastal area from Chennai to Pondicherry.[3].
During the shoot of the movie in pondicherry a difference in opinion between the director and the Cameraman resulted in the replacement of the cameraman M.S.Prabhu . He was replaced by N. K. Ekambaram. From 21-23 February 2010, the shooting was held in The Nilgiris district in Tamil Nadu. On the 21st and the 23rd, the shooting was held in Ooty. On the 22nd, the shooting was held in Gudalur. During this period, Vijay was staying in Hotel Sullivan Court in Ooty. Fans were allowed to meet him only at the shooting spot and not at the hotel.
