Any chance I might convince you to rethink your oppose vote? Or anything I can indicate that might help. The RfC that Grue cites is over 8 months ago (and I do not believe I ever acted ''egregiously'' on it; at most flippantly)... is that really a good criteria? Something prior to 95% of my WP edits?

Maybe you're right about "over eager". I wasn't even expecting the nomination. But given that I accepted it, I want it to succeed rather than fail. And I guess I must confess to being a little put off by people not only citing a small number of edits from 8-9 months ago, but mischaracterizing them too, as "evidence of misbehavior". I'm not entirely without ego on this. [[User:Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters|Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters]] 01:31, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Hello. I was image tagging, when I came across image:Hacienda51.jpg. I was unable to determine the copyright status, so I tagged it as "unverified". Could you add a proper image copyright tag to it? Pictures without tags will eventually be deleted. Thanks, Datepalm17 10:58, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Would you care to register an opinon on the Masturbation Talk page as to whether a full color photograph of male masturbation is suitable for that page? Thank you. Force10 22:47, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Response to welcome message

Thanks for the welcome message (to 67.51.137.39), but I'm already registered here as User:Exabyte. I just haven't been logging in lately. A note to avoid confusion: My IP changes almost every day (that's why it looks like I'm new here), so contributions made by this IP in the future are not necessarily by me. Balian of Ibelin

Hi, I notice that you added the "cleanup" notice to Balian of Ibelin - I'm not sure why, but I guess everything always seems clearer to the author :) I've tried to clean it up a bit, and added some sources. Is it better now, or did you have some other concerns with it? Adam Bishop 14:36, 8 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

AMA

Hello, TigerShark, and welcome to the AMA! I think that it's great that you signed up for the AMA (and yes, it's definitely still active). It's entirely up to you whether you add yourself to Wikipedia:AMA_Advocates_accepting_inquiries, and you may add yourself at any time, but you may want to get a little experience first. As for Alex756, I'm uncertain of the extend to which he contributes, but I can tell you that his contributions have been infrequent lately: he may be tied up with matters outside of the 'Pedia. – ClockworkSoul 15:21, 8 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

65.10.37.127

I've given him a warning, which I always do except for the most egregious of vandals. If he doesn't respond, then I'll block him. RickK 22:38, May 8, 2005 (UTC)

Happy slapping

I thought that the quote from a happy slapper was relevant - sorry you didn't. Intrigue 22:08, 12 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the AMA

That is fine that you've added your info to the AMA members accepting inquiries, just make sure you tell people the extent of your experience here or elsewhere in helping people in these kinds of situations. If you have any questions or want to discuss any issues relating to your work as a advocate best to try to contact me via email, I am just swamped with work outside the wiki realm. — © Alex756 18:54, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't want to have to block so soon, but if he keeps it up it may be necessary. Everyking 00:36, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:Kagawong aerial.jpg. Its copyright status is unclear, so it may have to be deleted. Please leave a note on the image page about the source of the image. Thank you. --Admrboltz 4 July 2005 20:32 (UTC)

Hitler and Whiteleys

TigerShark, thanks a lot! You're great! PS As an admirer of London to a London resident, please accept my wishes for peace/calm and recovery...In what part of London do you reside? ~ Dpr 14:14, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Benjamin Wadsworth

Laugh about Neal Horsley man he's one wacky mofo

disambig link fix

Thanks, but be sure when you fix a disambiguation link like on Columbine High School massacre, you don't upper-case it. ("Meanwhile, a police deputy sheriff" was changed to "Meanwhile, a police Deputy Sheriff") Thanks :) --Golbez 19:13, August 26, 2005 (UTC)

Human Rights Servey on Wikipedia (The final post of I_sterbinski)

Dear all,
Wikipedia was recently a subject of intensive research of an huge international human right organization. A team of people from different nationalities and ages were acting on Wikipedia for 20 days, investigating previously noted anomalities of Wikipedia free editing and forming a final report, which (between the others similar reports) will later be a guide to all future moves of the organization concerning Wikipedia. Acting under an account of a real person, their privacy is to be held private. Therefore, very few private information will be revealed.
Also, this is a result of the lack of final possition of the organization concerning Wikipedia and human rights, which was still not formed.
The team's final post on Wikipedia, where they explain their actions can be found on the following addresses:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:I_sterbinski
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Macedonia#Human_Rights_Servey_on_Wikipedia_.28The_final_post_of_I_sterbinski.29
The team would like to thank to all the persons who took part in the correspondence with us.
We also want to appologise for keeping our identity secret for a longer period.
Best regards,
Aleksandar, Biljana, Asparuh, Christos, Valjon, Michael and Ana Luiza

Sheela-na-Gig photograph

Hi TigerShark, I translated the English Sheela-na-Gig article into German last week. As I don't have a nice photo of a sheela and don't know much about copyright things I would like to ask you whether I could use the photo you inserted in the English article. That would be very nice. I would of course insert a reference as to it being your property. Best wishes, Netzrack.N 26. September 2005, 9:50 CEST

IP block

Looks like someone already blocked the nincompoop.  :) Thanks for letting me know! - Lucky 6.9 01:46, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In this case, the anon was correct. (I know, given his/her/its questionable history, you were right to be suspicious.) --Nlu 03:13, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Test? What test?

--70.104.137.202 20:28, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That wasn't a test. I honestly know the information belongs their. --70.104.137.202 20:36, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

62.177.137.37's edits at Tree

Hi TigerShark - just a brief comment, your reverting was correct, but 62.177.137.37's edits weren't vandalism, they were an innocent, though misguided attempt to alphabeticise the interwikis, without realising that e.g. "fi" lists under S for Suomi - MPF 14:30, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Eddie and his suspected socks

Cheers for helping out. I'm on my third revert at User:Lets Go Yankees, so would you mind? NSLE (讨论+extra) 00:43, 28 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

POV "Vandalism"

Please be careful not to label changes "vandalism" unless it's obvious that's what's happening. You reverted my changes to the article death on November 19, and cited POV Vandalism. I had explained my reasons for the changes on the talk page, and none of them had to do with my personal opinions. I had been trying to come to a solution on whether to call abortion "death" that would satisfy most people, regardless of their perspectives. In addition, if we're going to include abortions as death, then I don't see why miscarriages don't also count as death. There was no ill intent, nor was it POV (I'm not an animal-rights activst).

I checked the page Wikipedia Vandalism, and definitely nothing I wrote consisted of vandalism according to the definitions given. Under "What vandalism is not," the worst you could say would be that it was a NPOV violation, or maybe a mildy bold edit, though I don't think it was either.

I don't vandalize articles. Please be more careful before you write anything that sounds like an accusation. I've left the article on death the way you wanted it.24.64.223.203 08:18, 28 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
