Your script
... says it's giving out welcome messages but they're really cheeseburgers. Plus, they don't have section headings. Any way to fix this? My current config has the edit summary "Added message to talk page" or something like that, but I use a custom twinkle js plus a custom config. —fetch·comms 02:58, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
:| TelCoNaSpVe :| (talk) has given you a Cheeseburger! Cheeseburgers promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a Cheeseburger, whether it be someone you've had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy eating!
Spread the goodness of Cheeseburgers by adding {{subst:Cheeseburger}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
- Is this a test that you're having? :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 07:49, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- @fetchcomms: I will modify that; I use prefs as well. @Tel: No idea where you're getting.--moɳo 00:20, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

WP:GOOGLE Shortcut
Once again you have changed the redirect at WP:GOOGLE. As I have already told you, this is a widely-used redirect that has been cited in hundreds of discussions over the past several years, and it is not appropriate to unilaterally commandeer that redirect to promote your own small project (which, as far as I can tell, is more or less inactive). Changing the redirect changes the meaning of its usage in hundreds of past discussions, which defeats the purpose of archiving, as well as causing confusion for people who use the redirect now and expect it to point to WP:Search engine test. If you want a convenient redirect to your project, you are welcome to create a new one (might I recommend WP:GOOGLEPROJECT, WP:WPGOOGLE, or something like that), but do not mess up hundreds of links by taking over an existing redirect. rʨanaɢ (talk) 20:19, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- First of all, it is not my project (see WP:OWN). If you're so concerned about linkage, why don;t you ask a botop to write a program to re-link that. Unlike before, I used a descriptive edit summary and placed a template on the project page pointing to WP:SET. Therefore, I understand your point, however, I must ask that for the shortcut WP:GOOGLE that you include a similar notice like: You may be looking for WikiProject Google for the page. Let's not hog shortcuts; I am bringing this to WP:RFD for more discussion. Thank you.--moɳo 00:19, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- No, you write a bot and fix it, if you want to change it. Linkage is extremely important if it's used widely, not sure why you don't care (if it's not important then scrap your own redirect, wait, it's not actually yours 9_9). Let's not hog shortcuts, shall we? —fetch·comms 00:33, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Um, see what I wrote... You point out that it isn't my redirect; I only pointed out (earlier) that WP:GOOGLE isn't my project: First of all, it is not my project (see WP:OWN). Secondly, I brought it to RfD for more discussion and proposed an action: Therefore, I understand your point, however, I must ask that for the shortcut WP:GOOGLE that you include a similar notice like: You may be looking for WikiProject Google for the page. Thanks, moɳo 00:37, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- @fc, see above section.--moɳo 00:38, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

- Much easier to leave it be than change everything around, don't you think? At least wait until your project is more active. And see RfD comments by Rjanag. —fetch·comms 03:08, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Perhaps you saw my suggestion as well. What do you think of that? moɳo 03:09, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Hey, DTTR applies at User talk:NSD as much as anywhere. Why did you slap a template on an experienced user's page? It's cold, and frankly, I find it a bit rude. It makes it seem like you don't care about the problem enough to type something out yourself. Airplaneman ✈ 02:26, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) WP:DTTR is a essay, not policy.--moɳo 02:30, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, but it is also a widely used essay and it is generally considered rude to template an experienced editor. Going out of one's way to be civil never hurts. PrincessofLlyr royal court 02:54, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Your recent comments.
Thank you for your recent comment on my page. Your suggestion is well-taken. Please do not ever post on my page again. Have a good afternoon. Sapporod1965 (talk) 03:21, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- Urm, why are you so upset with me for pointing out your mistake?--moɳo 03:24, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- Btw, edit summaries are crucial.--moɳo 03:27, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- It might have something to do with your "sly" attempt to diminish my comments at RFA by removing the "#", see [1]. Furthermore, there is no excuse for the snide and supercilious tone of your commentary. So I supported the man, does that upset you, sir? Next thing I know you are templating me for some edit summary thing.
- Btw, edit summaries are crucial.--moɳo 03:27, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Btw, not engaging in edit stalking and harrassment is crucial. Please Back off. Sapporod1965 (talk) 03:31, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- I assure you that was an accident with the WikiEd script. I apologize for that; I was meaning to reply. You should always make sure you describe your edit so people can tell what you actually did. Perhaps I should have phrased my response more accurately; I was relying on WP:SARCASAM to come into play. Just because you like an editor (irl or not) doesn't mean they are a good candidate for the job. Awesomeness isn't exactly a quality that the community looks for in admins (even though it is an added bonus!) Quoting from the page, detailed explanations behind your position will have more impact than positions with no explanations or simple comments such as "yep", "no way" and "as per." and Certain comments may be discounted if there are suspicions of fraud; these may be the contributions of very new editors, sockpuppets, and meatpuppets. I feel that you rationale would have been discounted by a crat if the RfA hadn't been closed per WP:NOTNOW/WP:SNOW and I wished to point that out.--moɳo 03:41, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
WP:APPLE shortcuts
Why? I routinely use WP:MAC for convenience. The others also redirect to the page. Removing doesn't do the project any good. Please explain. Airplaneman ✈ 04:05, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- As discussed on WT:APPLE, WP:MAC is becoming a task force and will redirect there. If you have any objections, please bring them up there.--moɳo 04:06, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- It's been the project's shortcut since 2005, it should probably be discussed before it is repurposed. –xenotalk 04:21, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
