Cody Simpson

Cody Simpson (born January 11, 1997) is a 13-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia who is currently signed to Atlantic Records[1] and has released 3 self-written songs on YouTube in addition to his new debut single, "iYiYi", featuring Flo Rida[2]. He is claimed by some to be Australia's version of Justin Bieber. Cody has a verified Twitter account, @TheCodySimpson. His music producer is Shawn Campbell, who has produced for Usher and more.[3]

Early Life

Cody Simpson was born to parents Brad and Angie Simpson. He has two younger siblings, Tom and Alli. He is of Australian ancestry, but now also lives in Los Angeles to record his songs with Atlantic Records and his producer, Shawn Campbell. Cody has hinted at the fact that he would possibly want to represent the Australian swim team.[4]
