It was released on [[August]] 17th [[2004]] through [[record label]] [[Island Def Jam]], 8 years after [[Michael Hutchence]]'s untimely death. The EP consists of 4 tracks altogether, 2 of them are new i.e. Bang The Drum and Let It Ride. The other two are live performances of the song ''Elegantly Wasted'' and ''Don't Change'', both performed in [[Aspen]], in [[1997]].

Bang The Drum Ep is a ep by Australian band INXS. It's an internet-only download that's exclusive to iTunes only.

It was released on August 17th 2004 through record label Island Def Jam, 8 years after Michael Hutchence's untimely death. The EP consists of 4 tracks altogether, 2 of them are new i.e. Bang The Drum and Let It Ride. The other two are live performances of the song Elegantly Wasted and Don't Change, both performed in Aspen, in 1997.

The songs were made in the Elegantly Wasted era but the two new songs didn't make the final cut of the album in the end.
