Mikie Da Poet is an independent hip hop artist, based out of Chicago, Illinois. His latest album, self-named "Mikie Da Poet" can be purchased via iTunes.[1] Fox News reported Mikie Da Poet to be known as the "the new Eminem", as he performed during a live broadcast with fellow Chicago hip hop artists, Do Or Die and Johnny P. [2]

  • Note: Mikie Da Poet's performance in the Fox News video starts at the 4:36 mark. Also, during that time Fox News reports that fans and music critics are calling him "the new Eminem".
