Circa 1836 in British India a poor man finds a 200 carat diamond in the Deccan, South India, presents it to his King, who in turn, presents it to the British Viceroy, who has it dispatched to England via a ship that sinks during a storm. This diamond then surfaces during 1994 in Belgium, is taken apart and split into three. Two of these pieces are stolen, while the third remains in the custody of a wealthy Gujarati male who lives in Cape Town. After his passing, his son inherits the diamond, and notifies the Security Officer of the Indian High Commission, Shania ([[Shamita Shetty]]), of it's presence. Shania's boyfriend, Karan ([[Ajay Devgan]]), overhears this conversation and hires three burglars - Dhananjay ([[Zayed Khan]]), Lucky ([[Ritesh Deshmukh]]) and Pooja ([[Esha Deol]]), to steal it. This sets off a chain of events with the involvement of two more international thieves, Angad ([[Suniel Shetty]]) and Aditi ([[Diya Mirza]]). When Shania decides to entrap the thieves with marked currency, which ends getting stolen, throwing her job in jeopardy, Karan, decides to enlist the assistance of his partners to get the money back - but will Angad and Aditi be ready to part with the cash and what will be the outcome for the heist of the diamond?
An expensive diamond gets lost at sea. The finder of the diamond splits the diamond into three and gives one piece to each of his sons. The first son loses his piece of the diamond while gambling, the second piece was stolen by an Army boss, and the third was taken during a murder. Two of the three diamonds were kept safe in a museum, the third's whereabouts unknown. The other two diamonds get lost in Cape Town.

A super thief, Karan ([[Ajay Devgan]]) gets four other top-notch thieves to help him get the three diamonds, Danny ([[Zayed Khan]]), Pooja ([[Esha Deol]]), Lucky ([[Ritesh Deshmukh]]), and Aditi ([[Dia Mirza]]). Angad ([[Sunil Shetty]]) is after the same diamonds and so is Karan's girlfriend, Shania ([[Shamita Shetty]]) who is a police officer.in the end angad kills aditi and after a chase the rest of them kill angad

Cash - Earn the Money the Hard Way... Steal It! is a high octane, Indian Bollywood action film set in Cape Town, South Africa.
