Revision as of 00:45, 27 June 2010

June 2010

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Cradle of Filth. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. magnius (talk) 20:41, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Lock Up (UK band). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. magnius (talk) 20:42, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to Strapping Young Lad, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. magnius (talk) 20:44, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Hi

Cool. If I ever come across such an interview, I'll want to do something about it on this page; hopefully, I can enact upon that. IF you come across an interview where the band members talk about Katatonia forming as Melancholium in 1987, give me a notification and I'll see what I can do.

By the way, when you're posting on a talk page, it is wikipedia policy to put the commentary on the bottom; also, make sure to sign your posts with four tildes: ~~~~.

On further thought, sometime after I logged into this session, a user by the name of Nymf just reverted your Katatonia edit, stating that Spirit of Metal was indeed a non-reliable source; here is the link.

I read the interview after you gave me the link on it, and while it doesn't say the pre-Katatonia band formed in 1987, it does say that Katatonia had at least three working monikers for themselves, including Melancholium, before settling on Katatonia.
Also, about Nymf, that person has reverted some of the edits I have done as well. There is at least one instance that I can think of, which occured on the Darkthrone page; however, that reversion was explained well and it was, if I'm correct, an amicable exchange. I see that Nymf does have a regular tendency to revert edits. And by the way, I don't think Nymf has ever been blocked; however, the person has had two name changes during the tenure on wikipedia. Your blatant disregard for the guidelines set

What part of the policies linked is it that you do not understand? Or are you purposefully ignoring them? (i.e. vandalizing Wikipedia.) Nymf hideliho! 12:55, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Motaros, I have explained these things to you 4 or 5 times. Do not link dates as per WP:UNLINKDATES. Do not capitalize the instruments under the personnel section as per Wikipedia:ALBUM#Personnel and be sure to pipe things such as drums. You don't "play drum kit", you "play drums." '
Also, when I message you please keep the discussion at your talk page (as per the yellow edit notice when you try to reply at my talk page) and make sure you sign your posts with four tildes. Thank you. Nymf hideliho! 00:38, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
