Matt Daniel Rosenlund (born July 21, 1990 in Burnaby, Canada) is a Canadian footballer currently playing for Abbotsford Mariners in the USL Premier Development League.

Rosenlund plays most often as a winger but has also found success while playing as a right back. Rosenlund`s successes come from his good pace, and ability to make constant runs up and down the right flank. Rosenlund has especially been known for his pin point accurate crossing.

Rosenlund was born in Canada to Canadian parents, Bob & Lori Rosenlund. Has two brothers, Older brother Tyler Rosenlund and younger brother Cole Rosenlund.

Career

Youth

Rosenlund began his youth career playing for Whitecaps FC among the youth ranks. He then moved onto Abbotsford Mariners of the Super Y-League and finally ending his youth career with Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC. While with Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC Rosenlund helped his team get to the finals of Coastal Cup and he received MVP honors for the Finals.

Amateur

Rosenlund Began playing with Surrey United[1] in the Pacific Coast Soccer League in 2008 before moving to Poco Rangers[2] the following year.

Professional

Rosenlund signed for Abbotsford Mariners in the USL Premier Development League in 2010. He made his debut for Abbotsford on May 14, 2010 in a game against Vancouver Whitecaps Residency[3].
