He was traded back to the Flyers from Chicago on December 18, 2007, for Ben Eager. On February 20, 2008, he was traded to the Calgary Flames for a third round pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

On June 27, 2009, he was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes for Brandon Prust.

On June 30, 2010, he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers for Patrick O'Sullivan.
