May I ask where the sources are, for the European Youth Go Championship records? (Nice work, setting up the tables and flags, by the way). Best wishes, Trafford09 (talk) 14:23, 13 August 2010 (UTC) |

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article European Go Championship, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hi - Rather than just add more unsourced material, please source what you have added already. Codf1977 (talk) 15:05, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
PetitBouda (talk) 15:41, 26 July 2010 (UTC) : Hello, I don't know what are the most reliable references if the competition organizers website is not allowed. I hope, now, it's ok about that. Thank you for your feedback about it.
- any press coverage or something Independent covering the event. Codf1977 (talk) 15:45, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
PetitBouda (talk) 07:20, 27 July 2010 (UTC) I begin to be upset about the modifications people made on the European Go Championship article. What I did was to make links with several official sources (reading official website, go rss, fed website, ...) to tell what were the results of the main games during these competitions. It's not possible to write with other words such a fact that somebody won a game... I can understand if they were some polical things or something similar, but here it's just a competition.
I know that this is a new article that you are putting together, however WP has some policies and guidelines called the Five pillars that needed to be followed they include.
- Verifiability - All the facts in an article need to be verifiable from reliable sources.
- Primary sources can be used " but only with care"
- The Biographies of living persons policy which applys to material in any article about living persons.
So since you are reporting on wining and loosing you must find sources for the claims or I or another editor will remove anything that could be contentious.
If you need help please ask here or on the articles talk page.
