Patrón is a luxury brand of tequila produced in Mexico and sold in hand-blown, individually numbered bottles.

Made entirely from blue agave, Patrón comes in five varieties: Silver, Añejo, Reposado, Gran Patrón Platinum and Gran Patrón Burdeos. It has the fastest growing sales of any tequila in the United States.

Patrón also sells a tequila-coffee blend known as Patrón X.O. Cafe and a triple sec, Patrón Citrónge. The company has introduced a high-end, limited distribution tequila Gran Patrón Burdeos Añejo.[1]

Among other liquors, Patrón is notable for its frequent mention in popular American Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B music. It is often referred to as the ultimate luxury brand of tequila in MTV's The Hills. Patrón will be the presenting sponsor of the American Le Mans Series sports car racing championship for three years starting in 2010.

Patrón had co-sponsored an event on June 8, 2010 with the St. Bernard Project, to help raise funds for the displaced fishermen of the Gulf oil spill[2]
