There is a discussion at the [[Wikipedia_talk:Naming_conventions_(geographic_names)|Naming Conventions (geographic names)]] project page on the use of UN names in article titles that may interest editors of this and related articles. The discussion was instigated by myself as a possible route to standardising the approach to the names of articles of nation-states in Wikipedia. I would be very interested to have more views on the subject from those who are familiar with the detail of UN naming conventions, UN-related articles, etc. Thanks. I have proposed deleting/moving/redoing this article and drawn up a very rough draft of a replacement. Please read my comments on the discussion page and respond. I'm interested to hear what folks think. --Jieagles (talk) 23:23, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP 1.0 bot announcement

This message is being sent to each WikiProject that participates in the WP 1.0 assessment system. On Saturday, January 23, 2010, the WP 1.0 bot will be upgraded. Your project does not need to take any action, but the appearance of your project's summary table will change. The upgrade will make many new, optional features available to all WikiProjects. Additional information is available at the WP 1.0 project homepage. — Carl (CBM · talk) 04:06, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
