Kalyug (English: Modern Life) is a Bollywood Action movie about the pornographic film industry. The film, which was a success at the box-office, was directed by Mohit Suri, and produced by Mahesh Bhatt. The film introduces actor Kunal Khemu, as his debut film as an adult actor.[1] It also stars Emraan Hashmi, Smilie Suri and Amrita Singh.
Sypnosis
Pushkaran and his son Kunal (Kunal Khemu) move from Kashmir to Delhi, and one day Pushkaran is killed on a train, leaving Kunal lonely. When Pushkaran's late friends daughter comes by to meet him, Kunal tells Renuka (Smilie Suri) that he has passed away. He tells Renuka to stay with him for acouple of days, and then they fall in love and get married. When they leave for their honeymoon, Porn website creater's Simi (Amrita Singh) and her partner (Ashutosh Rana) break into Kunal's and Renuka room and capture them. They force Renuka to sign a paper about her saying she is involved in pornography, but when she finds out that Kunal is also involved with it, she commits suicide. Although Kunal really was not involves with anything, it was just Simi's plan. Heart-broken Kunal is now seeking revenge on Simi Roy and her partner. He meets Ali (Emraan Hashmi) and Ali agrees to help him. When he takes him to a nightclub, Kunal finds out that Ali betrayed him and actually took him to Simi Roy's partner's hangout. When her partner aims for Kunal, Ali learns his lesson and jumps in to save Kunal. There is a big brawl and instead of Kunal dying, Ali gets killed but now Kunal has double the reason to get revenge. Kunal then runs in to see Ali for one last time until he comes out from behind him with a knife, Kunal backfires and kills him too. Now it is Simi Roy who he is after, and he won't have peace until he kills her. When Kunal meets her, he, instead of hitting her, he exposes her by telling she is most likely involved with pornography and runs the website of porn. The ending shows the police surrounding Simi Roy and Kunal finding his true love, Anita (Deepal Shaw).
