V.I.C.

Victor Grimmy Owusu (born July 20, 1987), better known by his stage name V.I.C., is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. His hit single, "Get Silly", reached #29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2008.[1]

Background

V.I.C. was born Victor Owusu in 1987 in Queens, New York[citation needed] to an American mother and a Ghanaian father.[2] At ten he wrote his first song, a drug awareness rap for his elementary school.[2] Later that year he moved with his family to College Park, Georgia, an Atlanta suburb.[2] After graduating from high school he worked as a freelance barber.[2] His debut album Beast was released on August 26, 2008.
