Moraine Valley Community College is a community college located in Palos Hills, Illinois in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Founded in 1967,[1] it is the second largest community college in the state[3]. It has an enrollment of approximately 35,000.[1] The main campus of 294 acres (1.19 km2) is nestled in the Cook County forest preserves, and the college operates two satellite facilities: one in Blue Island, Illinois[4] and another in Tinley Park, Illinois.[5]
