Template:SpongeBob SquarePants character Sheldon J. Plankton is a fictional character on the television cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants. He is voiced by Doug Lawrence. The character is also in movies, video games, and other media based on the series. Additionally, he has been featured on countless toys, games, dolls, and other popular merchandise items.

Role in SpongeBob SquarePants

He is Mr. Krabs' rival and the main antagonist of the series. He operates a struggling restaurant called the Chum Bucket across the street from the Krusty Krab. His primary goal in the series is to steal the Krabby Patty recipe and drive Mr. Krabs out of business. Mr. Krabs and Plankton were once friends, but a dispute over the Krabby Patty recipe ended their friendship. SpongeBob also had a few temporary friendships with Plankton, such as in F. U. N[1] . It is revealed that he has an immense fear of whales.

Obvious similarity between a copepod and Plankton (SpongeBob Squarepants).

He has a very strong character, is very small, and has two antennae and one eye. Plankton, as its name suggests, is just that, plankton.

Plankton is married to Karen the computer, she apparently has a mind of her own to the point of making fun of her husband, she give him ideas which he censors out and takes them as his.
