The races start was not in torrential conditions, the race was dry enough for at least one driver (Wendlinger) to start on dry tires. While this was the wrong choice (he went to 20th on the first lap) it was certainly an indication that the choice was more borderline than 'torrential'. |

Alesi's spin on lap 12 was nothing to do with Senna, Berger was trying to take Alesi, who didn't see him and turned into him, making what looked to be light contact, and spinning. |

Alesi did not pass Capelli in the pits as Capelli did not even pit in this race. Alesi did pit on lap 33, and as such had massively better tires, and passed Capelli on the track on lap 45. |

The description seems to imply that Alesi was right behind Senna pushing him for the position when Senna went off. Alesi was in fact 7 seconds behind Senna when Senna spun off the track, and Senna in fact had just lapped Capelli when he lost it and hit the wall... |
