While announcing his candidacy for city council, Smithers attempts to "out" Mo as straight, by addressing the crowd of supporters. He tells Moe to kiss him as proof that he is really gay. Puckering his lips, Moe leans into Smithers, but at the last minute can't and announces that he was lying. Moe askes for forgiveness and hopes that they understand his need to be accepted.
