Prakash Uttamrao Dahake is a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing Karanja. He belongs to the Nationalist Congress Party.^[1]^[2] He defeated the incumbent MLA, Rajendra Patni by 3000 votes in the 2009 elections.He is popularly known as "dada".
