It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa is an EP by rapper Eazy-E released in 1993. Eazy-E's 2nd EP is a response to Dr. Dre's The Chronic. The album was certified 2x Platinum in late 1994 by the RIAA.[2]

Album information

The album contained the Dr. Dre diss track "Real Muthaphuckkin G's". Eazy-E released music videos for "Any Last Werdz" & "Real Muthaphuckkin G's".

It eventually went multi-platinum & became one of Eazy-E's most popular recordings. Eazy-E was originally intending to release a follow up to Eazy-Duz-It named Temporary Insanity. However, after the several insults Dr. Dre made in The Chronic, Eazy-E decided to release this album. Dr. Dre is mentioned on every track except "Gimmie That Nutt", "Any Last Werdz" & "Boyz N Tha Hood (G-Mix)".

It is currently unknown if any unreleased material was recorded for the proposed project, however MC Ren hinted about the album in a 1991 interview, which suggests some material may have been recorded.

There's rumor that the title was originally supposed to be "It's On: Dr. Dre 187um Killa" a reference to a compilation between Dre and Eazy-E. But after the falling out between the two over Ruthless Records contractual issues, Eazy changed the title as a shot at his former friend. The title implies murdering Dr. Dre (187 is a penal code reference to murder) instead of what could have been the original title meaning "Kill Them Dre".
