Steven Anatol Vasilev, MD, FACOG, FACS, is a gynecologist, obstetrician, gynecological oncologist, researcher, educator and author.[1][2]

Dr. Vasilev is of Russian descent, received his MD degree from the Keck School at the University of Southern California and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the USC-Los Angeles County Women's Hospital and USC Kenneth Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.[3] He also holds a MBA degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management[4] and became Clinical Professor at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine in 2002.[5] Prior to that he was Assistant Professor at the UC Irvine School of Medicine.[6] Vasilev is Chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service and Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Director at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center,[7][8][9][10] where he teaches residents, UCLA Fellows and USC Medical Students, holding Clinical Professor appointments at both schools. Prior to that he served as Director of Gynecologic Oncology at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California from 1991–1997, contributing to education and research while there.[11][12]
