DT&I 900-901 should be deleted from SW8 list. These two were built as SW1's, and re-engined by EMD with 8-567B's May 1952. DTI must have considered SW1's too small. Anyway, They were almost certainly just fitted with new electrical/mechanical gear on same frame/trucks/cab.

Larry Russell's GM Export page lists six SW8s exported to Luxembourg. --SSW9389 (talk) 16:45, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The six SW8s exported to Luxembourg are type LSW8 for a light frame SW8, built in 1954. They also have a low cab like the modern day SW1001. Should these units be in a seperate export category or included with the SW8s? A photo of a Luxembourg LSW8 can be found on Larry Russell's GM Export page. I found no production data on the Korean SW8s and suspect that they are all ex-U. S. Army units. --SSW9389 15:23, 21 September 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by SSW9389 (talkcontribs)
