Sinnbus is a Berlin based independent record label founded in 2000.

History

It first started as a loose network of friends, musicians and artists. The label itself was founded in 2002. Over the years Sinnbus developed from representing a local Berlin scene to a well known label in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and has earned a high reputation for its high quality releases, design and cover-art. Sinnbus now serves as a label, music publisher and occasional concert promoter. The style of music released by Sinnbus varies from post-rock, post-punk to indie and electronica.

The label's most successful bands are Bodi Bill and Hundreds, who have toured extensively around Germany, Austria and Switzerland and have gained a notable popularity in the German-speaking indie scene. Bands of the label have played various international festivals such as the Iceland Airwaves, Eurosonic, SXSW or Melt! festival.

Bodi Bill and Hundreds will be playing the Filter Magazine Culture Collide Festival in Los Angeles in October 2011.
