Sun-Ken Rock (サンケンロック) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Boichi. The plot tells the story of ken who is in love with a young Korean girl Yumin. He drops out of high school and follows her to Korea wanting to become a policeman just like her.But then, he finds himself at the head of a local gang.

Plot

The story revolves around ken, the main character who wants to become a police officer just like the girl he love who is a police officer. But due to some circumstances he becomes the head of a local gang Called 28 and tries to hide it from the girl he loves since she hates gang members. As the manga progresses he joins new members and becomes popular by taking down other gangs.

Characters

Ken Kitano

A high-school delinquent and the primary protagonist, who leaves Japan in pursuit of Yumin. His strength and sense of justice earns him the loyalty of his gang and the local community. Ken's parents are killed during a yakuza war when he was still kid.

Yumin Yoshizawa

Ken's love interest who left Japan to become a cop. She also hates gangsters.Later she discovered as the daughter of the Yakuza Boss back in Japan.

Tae-Soo Park

A Korean gangster and the gang's mastermind. He serves as Ken's right hand man and has numerous underground connections.

San-Dae "Pickaxe" Yang

One of the original members of Tae-Soo's gang and one of Ken's henchman. Whilst his loyalty is sometimes questionable, he is highly competitive and does not back down from a fight.

Marin

One of the original members of Tae-Soo's gang and one of Ken's henchman. He is a loyal man both to Tae-Soo and Ken.

Do-Heun Chang

One of the members of the gang.

San-Ki Lee

One of the members of the gang.

Kae-Lyn Kim

Only female member of the gang.Is a weapon specialist.

Ji-Hae "Miss Yoo" Yoo

A prostitute in trouble with the local gang.
