Welcome

Hi Bryce. Welcome to Wikipedia. I have reverted your most recent edit to Polonaise_in_A_flat,_Op._53_(Chopin) which deleted the reference key. Best to leave that in, even though at present there are no references, because if someone adds an inline citation without it, it won't show in the reference section. On the matter of opinion in articles, if opinion is backed up by a verifiable citation, it is allowed. The goal is to make the article balanced without giving undue weight to any particular point of view.

Glad to see a young person interested in Classical music. Keep up the good work. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Cheers!THD3 (talk) 12:56, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the welcome message. I will contribute often to Wikipedia and expand the classical music stubs. Again, thanks! AnnoyingOrangeandClassical Piano 22:50, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

CSD rationale

I'm not following your CSD tag of Khaperkheda Thermal Power Station. It is not without problems, but it is clearly not patent nonsense. Maybe you accidentally clicked the wrong tag?--SPhilbrickT 12:44, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops, I meant to tag it per A7, as it is not notable. My apologies -Bryce53 | talk 13:16, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That makes more sense, although let's be careful, "not notable" is NOT a valid CSD rationale. "No indication of importance" a lower hurdle, is the CSD A7 rational. One of the more commonly missed distinctions. "Not notable" is an acceptable deletion rationale as AfD, but not at CSD.--SPhilbrickT 13:30, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, thanks for letting me now that that falls under AfD, and that articles that have no indication of its important falls under CSD; but the article has been deleted now for A7. Bryce53 | talk 00:03, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
A great essay on this can be found at Wikipedia:Why_I_Hate_Speedy_Deleters.--v/r - TP 14:25, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice userpage

What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar
It confused me for a second the first time I saw it, and I used it on User:ClueBot Commons because of you! How very intelligent of you! --The Σ talkcontribs 21:53, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I did that so the risk of my userpage being vandalized is greatly reduced, and that it will take any vandal a looonngg time to figure out what it really was. Bryce53 | talk 23:24, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reverting the trolling from my talk page. Cheers!  Abhishek  Talk 09:07, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A bit too hasty there

Hi Bryce. Thanks for your anti-vandalism work, but there was no good reason for this revert, so I've have re-reverted it. Favonian (talk) 09:36, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. My dearest apologies to the other party. I need to learn to press the "q", "r", "w", and "space" keys on my keyboard 'in control'. I have heard many former rollbackers losing their privileges because of these repeated mistakes, so I have learned my lesson. Thanks for the message. Happy editing! -Bryce53 | talk 09:39, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user: 74.14.27.72

Hey there Bryce, looks like you're doing great work! But you should try slowing down a tad (I used to be a bit like you a while ago), your error rate is obviously greater when you go faster. Concerning this user, User talk:74.14.27.72, you should have tried talking to him and explaining why you reverted him, some people just genuinely want to help. Alright thanks That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 09:42, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the message. I have tried to talk to this user. Cheers. Bryce53 | talk 09:56, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

my last change

i am simply stating a known fact if you believe that i am wrong then i encourage you to look in Blacks Law Dictionary look up Act then look up statute they are both the same thing in essence and the only have the force of law when mutual Consent is achieved to quote my change i believe that all people should at least know that before saying that it is a law. just like illegal and unlawful have 2 very different definitions. All Acts and Statutes only have the FORCE of law when CONSENTED — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.14.27.72 (talkcontribs)

I have placed this back, as it is not vandalism. This user is trying to discuss his edit with you. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 09:53, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

how

how is this considered vandalism when is it a FACT. last time i checked Facts were true i really encourage you to look it up yourself search on google legalese definition of Statute and act — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.14.27.72 (talkcontribs)

Please do not vandalize Wikipedia to make your point. If you feel a distinction should be made in the article please change the title of "Law" to something you feel more adequately describes it, but discussion of an article's contents should be put on the talk page and certainly is not allowed to be put on the actual article, because that is considered vandalism. Thanks. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 09:53, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I should also add that having taken a closer look, I believe that you are incorrect in this matter, a statute is not a law, that is correct, but it is declared at the beginning that the article concerns a statute, and the section you are trying to change concern the laws of the statute, therefore it is entirely accurate, thank you for your contributions. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 09:58, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Leel

Hey Bryce,

You deleted the article Leel by CSD just as I was setting up an AFD entry for it.

I've just gone back to it (through page edit history) because I wanted to see what the creator had written in the discussion page, and I see that it's been re-instated with all of your edits removed.

Is my Firefox cache on the blink or do you want the article to be put up for AFD consensus?

Cheers!

Your actions are all right. Bryce53 | talk 13:05, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

Wazzup Bryce? It's me Ice Season from wikia, but under the name Sonicfan0329. We can possibly talk alot here. Bye! Sonicfan0329 (talk) 21:46, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hope so. I'm sorry I had to leave Wikia. I was just globally blocked for a year because of the attitude of an ill-mannered, petulant user. Let me think: How brave. How noble. How ADULT! Bryce53 | talk 00:44, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Bryce

This is Knife! under the name of RulerOfTheUniverse123 as Knife! was too similar to Knife and RulerOfTheUniverse was similar to Ruleroftheuniverse. Anyway, I would like to point out that you can't persuade others to stay away from Wikia. You may put up journals discussing your hate of Wikia but you can't share your hate with everyone. Several may agree but you can't persuade everyone, including me. Yes, I may of been blocked on Community Central but Wikia is my addiction and nothing can change it. I'm sorry, but I won't be joining your plans of moving the Annoying Orange Wiki to Wikkii/ShoutWiki and just keep vandalism at bay for the Wikia version. RulerOfTheUniverse123 (talk) 20:26, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. You have just proved to me that my work on the Annoying Orange Wiki equaled nothing at all. Enough is enough. If you're not going to move, so be it. I might as well tag my efforts here for deletion. Bryce53 | talk 22:36, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me, but how have I proved your work on Annoying Orange Wiki meant nothing. I wasn't even talking of your Annoying Orange Wiki work - which does mean a lot - just about the move from Wikia to ShoutWiki/Wikkii. RulerOfTheUniverse123 (talk) 09:45, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies, I am an emotional person with basically a really short temper. I feel ashamed; I never meant to be so harsh, Keiren. I thought you meant that you didn't want to move because you intentionally did not want to allow me to contribute further to the project. Well, never mind about the entire "moving" thing. I'm already having a good time at Wikimedia projects, anyways. Take care. Make sure you notify the AOW community of this. Bryce53 | talk 09:50, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't blame you, I too have a short temper. Also, a blog post has been created about the move. RulerOfTheUniverse123 (talk) 20:49, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Burecrat

Will you able to ask Brainulator9 to grant me bureaucratship along with BobNewbie. Also, your wish has been granted. RulerOfTheUniverse123 (talk) 18:16, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ask Brainulator himself, not me. Cheers. Bryce53 | talk 23:22, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You will not be granted the Bureaucrat right until you have a lot of experience on this site, the bureaucrat right is above adminship and is generally given out only to administrators (and to become an administrator you generally need around a year behind you and a good 10,000+ edits). Try to focus on improving the Wiki and getting some experience before going for the main rights. Good luck. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 00:58, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Cheesykid for pointing that out, but we're talking about Annoying Orange Wiki - but thanks anyways. Cheers. Bryce53 | talk 02:01, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I see, how silly of me, why aren't you discussing this there? That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 02:04, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was horribly chastised on Wikia, the host of AOW, and I couldn't edit there. Bryce53 | talk 02:06, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
How horrible, is there no way to appeal the block over there? Although I see from your userpage that you don't particularly want to return. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 02:09, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wikia administrators always block users unfairly. There's absolutely no way to appeal the block. They blocked email, talk page access, and everything. If you send requests to Special:Contact they will get no reply. On wikipedia, even users who commit even more serious crimes still have the ability to edit talk page/send email. And the Wikia user who blocked me talked to me in a rude tone before making the block. That's why I dislike Wikia. Bryce53 | talk 03:08, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
