This WikiProject has a 2-fold intention. Firstly, it is meant to provide for a project framework for the activities performed by the Method Engineering team of the University of Utrecht. Method Engineering is a master degree course that studies the extraction of method fragments from existing product software and information system development methods to create new methods that have situational applicability. In an effort to create a method pool, from which method fragments can be gathered, the research team is constructing a list of methods. The research team invites the world to contribute to this list of methods. The second intention if this WikiProject is the fruit of the project: to provide knowledge about the science of method engineering and to provide a portal of methods, studied in its context. |

PrefacePrevious year, a team of 20 researchers from the University of Utrecht started the Method Engineering project. This year, the project is reset and continued by a new team of about 65 researchers. This page is expected to grow much more rapidly, but for now it is still under construction.
ScopeThis WikiProject has a 2-fold intention. |

Project Lay-outThemes Of FocusDuring the research of the Method Engineering project, methods, tools and techniques are aggretated under 2 main themes and 5 subthemes of focus. The division of the themes of focus is listed in the tables below.
