There's an Over 9000 reference in here. Whose fault? Doubt it should be edited out though.

I've changed "the Soviet Union" to "the Murmansk Oblast, Russia" in the first sentence. For those who may be a little confused by my action: the Soviet Union has not existed for quite some time now.

Isn't there an urban legend about a "hole to hell" that was found in Missouri in 1906? The 1975 Rod Serling TV special "Encounter with the Unknown" had a segment covering it. (The special was actually Serling's final credit, as he died in June of that year.)--[[Special:Contributions/71.237.221.39|71.237.221.39]] ([[User talk:71.237.221.39|talk]]) 08:39, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Unsourced and POV tags

Unsourced - There are zero references in the section about the history of the hoax.

POV - At the very least, the line about "apparently without anyone checking its veracity, before landing back in the lap of the Trinity Broadcasting Network" smacks of POV. Jinxmchue 02:31, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

??? - Wow, the author references Stubs as proof? Stubs does the same thing by referencing another source and so on and so on! I tried following the rat race and wound right back at Wiki. . . The "proof" they offer that the well to hell is a hoax came from some critics POV said time and time again. I have seen more proof of it's authenticity; guess it's for you to decide —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.227.185.35 (talk) 00:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, the irony. 24.211.215.187 (talk) 21:17, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What was supposed to be causing the screaming sound? "Souls" don't have voices because they're not physical things. So presumably it would have to be something that didn't melt or vaporise at 2000°C......ghosts made out of tungsten?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.198.33.252 (talk) 15:04, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
