Paul McVeigh (born April 15, 1982) is an Irish[1] mixed martial artist, fighting out of Glasgow, Scotland. He grew up in Drumaness, Northern Ireland before later moving to Glasgow, Scotland. He is ranked as the #1 Bantamweight in Europe[2] and is the current Cage Warriors and Cage Contender Bantamweight Champion.

He also holds a black belt in Jujitsu[3] and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.[4]

On July 24, 2010, he defeated Lithuania's Artemij Sitenkov at Cage Contender V in Dublin, Ireland in a bout for the Cage Contender Bantamweight title.[5] The bout was regarded as the biggest Bantamweight fight in European MMA history.[6]

He recently appeared on The Ultimate Fighter Season 14 losing a close fight to Louis Gaudinot. Afterwords being higly praised by coaches Michael Bisping and Jason Miller as well as UFC President Dana White.
