Well, in this case I think it is also a song. When you listen to the version by Manhattan Transfer you think to this piece. WR and Manhattan Transfer also played this composition together at the Playboy Jazz Festival in 1984. Anyway, I'm not saying I would like to change back the name of this article. It's not a song!
How can an instrumental piece be a song? Songs have to involve singing.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 18:50, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- And my jigsaw puzzle has 2,000 pieces that are instrumental to finishing it. So what? Move it to Birdland (instrumental piece) if you'd like. (I created this page. My girlfriend, who is a hornist, gets on my case about calling "pieces" songs, but I don't see why it's such a big deal...) Srnec 05:01, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- It's not a big deal, it just sounds so silly - makes me think of "happy birthday" or the "demo song" button on my old CASIO :) HenkeB 00:44, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
