Winona is a train station in Winona, Minnesota served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It was originally built in 1888 by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad.[2] A former Milwaukee Road freight house also exists here. Winona has also had at least four former stations used by the Chicago and North Western Railroad.

Winona is served by Amtrak's daily Empire Builder. Of the six Minnesota stations served by Amtrak, Winona was the second busiest, boarding or detraining an average of about 75 passengers daily in FY10.[3]
