The Mapúa Institute of Technology at Laguna (MITL) is the flagship college of the Malayan Colleges Laguna. The college is under the Mapúa School of Engineering, one of the best engineering schools in the Philippines.

MITL is among the three pioneer colleges under MCL. It offers seven engineering programs designed to produce globally competitive, dedicated and world class engineers. Currently, 45 percent of the students of MCL are enrolled in engineering programs.

Cardinal Cup

In November 9-11, 2011, the MITL held its second MITL week which signified the start of a tradition that will challenge the seven engineering programs to compete for the Cardinal Cup.
