Gravity Rush[2] (originally announced under its Japanese working title Gravity Daze)[3] is an upcoming game developed for the PlayStation Vita.[4][5][6] Directed by Keiichiro Toyama, as demoed at E3, the core mechanic of the game is the player's ability to manipulate gravity to facilitate their navigation of the game's levels.[4]

Gameplay

The player takes control of Kat, a mysterious young woman who has the ability to control the gravity around her. The gravity-controlling mechanic can be used to fly through the air, walk on walls, and thrusting devastating kick attacks towards enemies. Gravity Rush also boasts some role-playing game elements, such as leveling up, side quests, optional villains to fight, and large worlds to explore.
