Chapter 5 is the upcoming fifth studio album by American R&B recording artist Trey Songz, set to be released in the 1Q of 2012. It is the follow-up to Passion, Pain & Pleasure (2010). The cover was revealed on December 7, 2011.[1]
Background
The album will depict Songz "storytelling", unlike his previous albums. Upon Chapter 5's release, Trey released an EP entitled Inevitable, a five track album that includes a guest appearance from Fabolous, on November 25, 2011.[2] Selling 27,000 copies, it debuted at #23 on the Billboard 200 and at #4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-hop albums chart.[3][4]
Singles
The album's lead single, "Top of the World", was released on November 1, 2011,[5] and the music video premiered the following day.[6] It is also included on Inevitable. The promo single "Sex Ain't Better Than Love" was released for radio play, in January, 2012.
