I will also repeat my previous concern about your editing activity. Wikipedia is based on principles of neutrality. Your editing history at this point suggests an almost single-minded concern with trying to insert negative information about Shen Yun Performing Arts. If you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, I recommend familiarizing yourself with [[WP:NPOV]]. Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I was reviewing the changes you made recently, and thought you might benefit from familiarizing yourself with some Wikipedia policies and guidelines, particularly the policy on editing from a neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV). It appears that your edits are exclusively concerned with presenting negative reviews of an arts company, which may lead an observer to conclude that you are not making an attempt to contribute constructively or in a neutral manner. If you have any questions regarding this or other policies, I would be happy to help. Best regards, Homunculus (duihua) 17:06, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded. Several tendentious edits just now removed. The Sound and the Fury (talk) 17:48, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ethic Commission

Hello,

I see that you have attempted to add a paragraph about the Canadian ethics commission notice to Shen Yun Performing Arts again. Please know that you were not previously reverted simply because you are an IP address. Your edits were actually discussed and rejected on the article's talk page. As I noted in that discussion, a notice posted on the website of the Canadian ethics commissioner is not sufficiently notable, per WP:N and WP:DUE, the latter of which states "An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. For example, discussion of isolated events, criticisms, or news reports about a subject may be verifiable and neutral, but still be disproportionate to their overall significance to the article topic. This is a concern especially in relation to recent events that may be in the news."

Anyone who has worked in government (in the West, at least) would know that ethics commissions have general rules about accepting free gifts. This is nothing novel. Moreover, the original notice on the commissioner's website was removed and replaced with a more general advisory that makes no mention of Shen Yun.[1]

I will also repeat my previous concern about your editing activity. Wikipedia is based on principles of neutrality. Your editing history at this point suggests an almost single-minded concern with trying to insert negative information about Shen Yun Performing Arts. If you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, I recommend familiarizing yourself with WP:NPOV. Again, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.Homunculus (duihua) 15:37, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
