Critical Reception

"Is Anybody Out The" obtained mixed reviews by it's critics. The track received negative reviews by Jody Rosen of Rolling Stone. Rosen gave the collaboration a mere one and a half out of five stars, criticizing the song's lyrical content. [9] Furtado's vocals and K'Naan's rapping were commended by Bill Lamb of About.com, giving the track a positive four out of five stars; however, it was criticized for it's light weight sound.[10]

Chart Performance

The single first made it's debut in Canada's Hot 100 at number 67, however it began it decrease on the chart the following week. It placed at number 73 it's second week, being the first single to chart for Furtado since 2010's "Night Is Young". [12]
