Sarah Kazemy (Template:Lang-fa); (born 1987) is a French actress of Iranian descent.[1][2] She is notable for her role in indie Circumstance.
Biography
Sarah was born in Neuilly sur Seine, France to an Iranian father and a French mother of Algerian descent. Her parents left the country at the time of the Iranian revolution.[1][3]
She is known for her role in the critically acclaimed Iranian indie film, Circumstance (2011), which she prepared for by visiting relatives in Tehran to get an experience of things firsthand.[4] [3]
Sarah had no prior training in acting before taking on one of the leads in the movie. Soon after she was cast as the lead in the film "Kanyamakan". She is fluent in English, french and Persian and studied Arabic, German and Italian.[1]
