The Gambit is a bilingual rap music artist and producer from Finland that performs songs in English and in Finnish. He has a Master's degree in Economics & Business Administration and is also an LL.M. graduate. The Gambit debuted in 2005 with his independently released single, Move Gambit / Cos My Clique Is, which reached #9 in the Finland singles chart.

The Gambit runs a label/production company QGL - Queen Gambit Laboratoires. He is also a partner in a film production company Twisted Films whose client roster includes, for example, BMW and Universal Music among others. The Gambit's debut album, "Rosary", released in 2007 led him to open shows for international acts such as Delinquent Habits, Rick Ross and Three 6 Mafia. His beats and remixes have featured artists such as Deams, De La Soul, Ice-T, Psycho Les of The Beatnuts and opera singer Marika Krook.

In 2008 The Gambit inked a brand partnership deal with Pepsi. During this same year his music video, "Snake Styles", was awarded in the Oulu Music Video Festival and he was also credited as the best local rap artist by City-magazine. The Gambit signed a producer management contract to the United States in 2011[1].
