If the music business had any integrity, Andy Partridge's songs would be hummed in households around the world. --72.226.198.182 05:29, 6 December 2005

Andy Partridge truly is a God among men.Neoyamaneko

Info box & picture

I added an info box but more info is needed. A picture of Andy would also be nice. --Teabeard 00:26, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Monstrance

Why is this not mentioned ANYWHERE on wikipedia? i don't know how popular or well selling it is, but its on iTunes, so idk, and i've got it, and i know someone else whose got it. There is some other information about him collaborating with Barry and the Shriekback guys on their album, so a smidgen of information about Monstrance (2007 release) would be perfect here. I don't feel in the right position to add anything, so if anyone else knows anything about it, then please add something in.Thakmere (talk) 00:05, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The answer is that the editors are either unaware of the album or, it may be due to the fact that nobody has taken the time to put a discography in this article yet.

Photo and cleanup

I put in a new photo, cleaned up the POV issues or at least kept them to a dull roar, but am too unfamiliar with the band to remove some of the junk/trivia in there. I tried my best to remove the most obvious, and integrate it into the text. Now the article needs more text, a smoother chronology (and someone has got to make it clear; if he's a musician, or if he's a jack of all trades. That's where I was baffled, and it should not happen in an informative encyclopedia. Please try to weed out the rest. Thanks. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 08:09, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stage Fright

I added "claims" to the part about him having "stage fright", because many believe Mr. Partridge used this as an excuse to spend his time doing what he liked more: producing, recording and writing. He is known to be stubborn, and often talks about how much he dislikes the concept of playing the same song over and over, dislikes the stress of the road, and dislikes how labels force their bands to tour relentlessly to promote their albums. To a large xtent, all musicians feel this, and all have stage fright, but Partridge is a more defiant and strong character, and siply refused- citing the very difficult to prove "stage fright" as a reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.123.133.47 (talk) 12:21, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
