Jonathan Boakes is an English game designer,[1] born in November 7th, 1973 in Kent, UK. He majors in writing many adventure games such as Dark Fall, The lost crown.

The games of Jonathan Boakes are usually designed based on the real scenery, then the place is given a fictional name in stead of using the real name in the game. One of his works, The Lost Crown, was based on the Polperro harbour which was renamed as Saxton in the game.
