Jon Gordon is an American business consultant and author[1] on the topics of leadership, culture, sales, and teamwork.

Some of Gordon's clients include Campbell Soup, General Motors, Wells Fargo, Bayer, State Farm, Northwestern Mutual, Publix Supermarkets, Denver Public Schools, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, University of Texas, University of Georgia[2], Jimmie Johnson's Racing Team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Atlanta Falcons[3].

His work has been featured in media including The Washington Post[4], The Wall Street Journal[5], New York Post[6], CNN, Fox and Friends, The Today Show, Forbes,[7] and U.S. News and World Report.[8]

He holds degrees from Cornell University[9] and Emory University[10].

Books

Gordon is the author of several books including The Seed, The No Complaining Rule[11], Training Camp[12], The Shark and the Goldfish[13], Soup: A Recipe to Nourish Your Team and Culture, and "The Wall Street Journal" bestseller[14] The Energy Bus.

Sam Presti, General Manager of the Oklahoma City Thunder (then Seattle SuperSonics), was quoted in The New York Times saying that Gordon's The Energy Bus is "a management book that shows readers how they can affect situations by how they frame them."[15]
