Big Brother Africa 7 (also known as Big Brother Africa: StarGame!) is the seventh season of the Big Brother Africa reality television series produced by Endemol for M-Net. It is set to begin on 6 May 2012.[1] In this year's opening ceremony, live performances will be made by American rapper J. Cole, Kenyan hip hop group Camp Mulla, Nigerian musicians P-Square, Naeto C, Flavour and Davido, and South African artist Aemo E'Face.[2][3][4][5] The show will be hosted by Ikponmwosa "IK" Osakioduwa for a record fourth time.
Format
Once again there will be two houses in the contest, "Upville" and "Downville". Contestants will compete in pairs for a total cash prize of three hundred thousand US dollars (US$ 300,000). The seven celebrity contestants entered "Upville" while the other 30 entered "Downville".
New this year is Random Lottery Nomination, in which the houseguests are randomly selected for possible eviction from a machine.
After surviving an eviction, the remaining housemate(s) enter the "Upville" house.
On day 56, the "Downville" house was closed and all remaining housemates will live in the "Upville" house.

On day eight Hilda, Julio and Teclar were eliminated and Maneta entered the "Upville" house.

On day 9 Sierra Leone and Liberia were nominated via Random Lottery Nomination; therefore Zainab, Dalphin, Yadel and Luke are this weeks nominees.
On day 13 both Chris and Ola walked out of the house due to health concerns.

- Yadel received 1 vote to save: Liberia

On day 15 Dalphin, Luke, and Yadel were evicted and Zainab entered the "Upville" house.
Week three
On day 16, only the contestants from "Upville" house will make their own nominations; Zainab received an extemption from this week's nomination.
Out of 16 total nomination points Prezzo received 1 vote, Goldie received 2 votes, DKB and Maneta received 3 votes each, Lady May received 1 vote, and Mampi received 6 eviction votes.
Therefore Lady May, Mampi, and Maneta will face eviction this week.
- Lady May received 12 votes to save: Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Rest of Africa.

Week four

On day 26 both Esperanca and Seydou walked out of the house.

Week five
On day 29, DKB and Zainab were disqualified from the competition for contravening the violence rule and were told to pack their bags and leave the house.[6] Due to these events this weeks eviction has been cancelled.
Week six
On day 35, Namibia and South Africa were nominated via Random Lottery Nomination; therefore Lee, Junia, Keagan and Jesica are this weeks nominees.
- Keagan received 7 votes to save: Angola, Botswana, Liberia, Malawi, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Rest of Africa.
- Junia received 7 votes to save: Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
- Jesica received 1 vote to save: Tanzania.
- Lee received no save votes.
On day 42, Jesica and Lee were evicted while Keagan and Junia entered the "Upville" house.
Week seven
On day 43, only the contestants from "Upville" house will make their own nominations; Keagan and Junia received an extemption from this week's nomination.
Out of 14 total nomination points Goldie and Lady May received 2 votes each, Barbz and Prezzo received 3 votes each, and Maneta received 4 eviction votes.
Therefore Barbz, Maneta, and Keitta will face eviction this week.
On day 44, Maneta and Roki were disqualified from the competition, getting only nominated Barbz and Keitta.
- Keitta received 11 votes to save: Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

On day 50 Malawi and Zambia were nominated via Random Lottery Nomination; therefore Nafe, Wati, Talia and Tamara are this weeks nominees.

On day 56, Nafe and Tamara were evicted while Talia and Wati entered the "Upville" house.
In the same day, all Downville housemates entered in "Upville" house.
Week nine
On day 57, all housemates will make their own nominations; Talia and Wati received an extemption from this week's nomination.
Out of 20 total nomination points Alex, Janette, Keitta and Malonza received 1 vote each, Goldie, Junia, Keagan and Prezzo received 2 votes each, Kyle received 3 votes and Lady May 5 eviction votes.
Out of 16 total nomination points Lady May received 5 vote, Kyle received 3 vote, Keagan,Junia,Goldie and Prezzo received 2 votes each, Keagan saved himself and put Malonza, Therefore Lady May,Junia,Goldie,Kyle,Prezzo and Malonza will face eviction this week.
